About your therapist
Sherry served in the United States Marine Corps and upon completion of active duty she earned her undergraduate in Sociology from University of California, San Marcos followed by her Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas and Oklahoma.
She started in the mental health field by providing services to the veteran community. She continued her work with children and adolescents experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. She then worked in a Federal Qualified Healthcare Facility (FQHC) alongside physicians in primary care, pediatrics, OBGYN, and gender care by providing consultation and crisis intervention while practicing traditional evidence based therapy working with people of all ages from all walks of life in private practice.
